Pinterest rewards consistency more than volume. The problem is remembering to post. This automation reads one row a day from a Google Sheet (image link, title, description, destination URL) and creates the pin for you. Fill the sheet on Sunday; the rest of the month posts itself.
What you need
A Pinterest business account with at least one board, image files hosted somewhere public (Google Drive works, a website works), and a free Make account.
The five steps
- Make a sheet with columns: Date, Image URL, Title, Description, Link, Board, Posted.
- In Make, start the scenario with Google Sheets Search Rows, filtering for rows where Date equals today and Posted is empty.
- Add Pinterest Create a Pin. Map Title, Description, Link and the image URL; pick the board from the row.
- Add Google Sheets Update a Row to write "yes" into Posted so the row is never used twice.
- Schedule the scenario once a day at your best posting hour and switch it on.
Useful extras
Add a second run at another hour with a second row per day if you want two pins daily. Keep a Notes column for the keywords you used; it makes next month's sheet faster.
What this does not do
It does not design pins for you and it does not invent descriptions. It publishes exactly what is in the sheet, which is the point: you control every word, once. Pinterest's spam rules still apply; two or three pins a day with real descriptions is safe, fifty is not.
Cost
One pin a day uses about three operations, under 100 a month. That fits comfortably in the free plan.
