By the Loop is a one-person AI studio. One person, a desk, and a set of AI systems doing the work a studio would normally hire for.
How the loop runs
A brief goes in. Research, a draft, a render and a check come out, and the check is the part a person does. Nothing is published that has not been read by a human being who is willing to put their name on it. That single decision point is the whole claim of this studio, and it is why the operating diagram on the front page has one square node among five circles.
What the studio runs
Five things, listed on the front page with their true status: the studio itself, three channels (Claude by Richard, Olivia Loop and Plot Twist Loop) and a game that is next. Four are live, one is next, and the page says which is which. Accounts that have not been opened are not listed anywhere on this site.
AI disclosure
Olivia Loop is an AI-generated character. She is not a real person and nothing published under her name is a first-hand account. Every post she makes carries Instagram's AI label, and her account carries Instagram's AI-created profile label. Plot Twist Loop's stories are written by the studio, voiced by an AI voice and animated in code, and every post carries the platform's AI label. Illustrations and video elsewhere on the site are generated with AI models and the narration uses an AI voice. Scripts and captions are drafted with AI; every factual claim is checked by a person.
